Juliana LaHue

Dental Hygienist

Born and raised in Memphis, Juliana brings 37 years of hygiene experience. She earned her degree from UTHSC. Juliana enjoys developing close patient relationships with each patient and individualizing their oral health care needs. When all ten fingers are not in a patient mouth Juliana enjoys tennis, learning to play golf, walking with friends, yoga/Pilates and cooking with her family. Juliana has been married for 30 years to her loving husband, Steve and has one amazing son, Paul. She also has two four legged children, Nacho and Sydney.

Amanda Smithey

Dental Hygienist

Amanda was born in Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2012. She enjoys getting to know her patients as well as educating them on all thing’s oral hygiene. Amanda and her husband Clayton married in 2013 and have one little girl Harley. She also has two four legged children, Ricky and Pepper. Some of her hobbies outside of the office include anything outdoors, reading books, and a good amount of time at various children’s activities. 

Ruth Rude

Dental Hygienist

Originally from the southern coast of Maine in York Village. She moved to Memphis, TN as a child. Ruth attended the University of Memphis before attending and graduating from the University of Tennessee as a registered Dental Hygienist. Ruth brings the advantage of over 30 years of dental hygiene experience.

She is passionate not only about delivering the best clinical skills to her patients but also believes in the value of getting to know patients’ dental expectations thus allowing the best care as well as emotional support. Ruth married her childhood sweetheart, Sidney. They have four children and twelve grandchildren. Ruth enjoys spending time with her large family, traveling, gardening and is an active member of First Evangelical Church. 

Katy Beggs

Registered Dental Assistant

Katy was born in Arkansas and moved to Mississippi as a child. She always knew she wanted a career in the dental field since she was young. Katy graduated her Dental Assisting program in 2019 and has enjoyed getting to the know the field and her patients ever since. Following graduation, Katy interned with Modern Dentistry of Memphis and always saw herself working for the office in the future. When she isn’t floating around the dental office, she’s trying new restaurants, binging crime documentaries, and spending time with her 3 fur babies. Katy is currently engaged to her high school sweetheart, Christian, of nine years. 

Jennifer Carr

Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been a registered dental assistant for 17 years. She started working in the dental field in 2005 and never looked back! Her biggest joy is taking care of her patients and making them feel comfortable while they are here and confident when they leave! She takes pride in what she does and enjoys it very much. She has a handsome 19 year older old son named Tucker that keeps her on her toes. Outside of work She enjoys spending time with family and working out, and we also love being on the water boating and wake boarding during the summer months!
